Easter is coming soon. I stopped buy my local Dollar Tree to do this project right before my big move that I was about to go through. I move all the way across the country. From New York to Oregon. Living comfortable there now.

For this DIY project I got plastic Easter eggs. They have ones shaped like cute bunnies at Dollar Tree. Some candy. They had these Reese shaped Easter egg also got from the dollar tree. Any kind of candy will do as long as it fits in the Easter egg. And I got some alphabet beads.

Basically all I did was take this chocolate, put it inside the Easter eggs. Then I took some stretchy string and stung the alphabet beads into the string and tied it around the Easter eggs. I spelled my name using the alphabet beads but you can spell any word you want.

I uploaded a short little video of me doing this DIY project.

I have a DIY project for you guys! I stopped by my one of my local Dollar Tree stores and picked up a spool of there seasonal Christmas ribbon. I realized I had an unopened spool of ribbon stored away with my seasonal supplies after I did this project. Oh well, nothing wrong with extras.

I made a lovely bow. I still have lots of those pre-made Christmas bows with a sticky side on the back from last Christmas. It’s just satisfying knowing you can make something yourself. I also still have that candy cane Christmas decoration from last year. Never throw out Christmas decorations.

I also uploaded a video on my YouTube channel showing how I created this Christmas ribbon. A perfect finishing touch for any wrapped Christmas present. All the items in the picture I took below are available at dollar Tree. They have lots more Christmas items available now.

I'm alive!
Yes, It's been a while since I posted on this blog. I have been away from it for years. Fear not, I would never forget my cute, creative blog I've spent so much time designing. I still love creating things. I have another Dollar tree haul to share! This year at Dollar Tree for the season of Halloween, they have a lot more seasonal Halloween supplies, decor, treats and more. I regularly visit the stores so I always see what they have. And my favorite item came back, the Metallic Ceramic Skulls!

Metallic Ceramic Skulls

This is actually the skulls I bought last year of 2016 around the Halloween season. These were ordered online because I could never find them in stores. It was my first online order on the Dollar Tree website. I did upload a video on my sharing what they look like when they first arrived. Check out the video below.

This year they have the metallic skulls available in black. I was so excited and placed the order right away. However something went wrong. I had them delivered to the store just like I did last year. When I got the email conforming it was ready to be picked up, I when down to the store to pick up my order. I was told they didn't arrive. The manager said he would check again fro the next shipment and told me to come back next week when they got their next shipment. So the next week I came back, they checked again, still nothing. They called the customer service line, then they told me to come back next Wednesday again. SO the next week, I came back to the store again , STILL NOT THERE! The manager said I should call customer service and tell them they never got the order. So basically, I got refunded and never got my black metallic skulls. Hopefully, I can snag them before they're gone. The sell out fast.

Everything Is Just $1 At!
I did get more the metallic ceramic pumpkins again this year. Last year I only got the one in orange and glazed ceramic pumpkins. This year I got all the metallic pumpkins :) It really made my entertainment center in the living room look festive.

The ceramic owls were also from the Dollar Tree. They're really stepping their game up with the quality of their items. The LED, battery powered skull and bat lights are cute but I don't really like how dim the lights are. I might just buy brighter plug in LED lights and stick the little attachments onto the lights. Also the cords on the lights are too short and they aren't stable. The wires detach very easily. But that's for another DIY project for another day. I actually have another DIY project idea for the metallic skulls. Hope I get a chance to do it ;)
